Mycorrhiza
Mycorrhiza is a symbiosis of root and mycelium of mycogenic fungi which enhances the nutrition of plants. The fungus supplies plant phosphorus and other minerals that selectively absorb from the soil and increase surface water intake. The fungus also secrete growth hormones that stimulate root growth and protection, as well as enzymes that allow taking minerals from organic forms. Products and antibiotics, and protect plants from pathogenic fungi and bacteria in the soil. Mycorrhiza protect plants from heavy metals and salts.
